2023年10月28日，新华小记者作为少先队代表在“童生同梦成长空间”和党、团代表及即将入队的小朋友们一起参加了“感受方庄新生活 走好人生三部曲”活动。
在中国少年先锋队成立74周年之际，此次活动在方庄购物中心党领导带领下，通过红色故事、绘本的推荐。让青幼儿知道入学一年级时要入队、知道什么是少先队、感受成为一名少先队员的光荣。
活动现场，少先队代表带领大家一起走进了国旗班的故事：当时张威还是高中生，被张自轩升旗时英姿飒爽的样子所折服，三年后，张威参军入伍2019年如愿加入解放军仪仗大队国旗护卫队，但他明白只有成为最优秀的队员才有机会像张自轩一样在天安门广场上升旗.为了圆梦，他迎着太阳练眼神，绑着沙袋练腿功，顶着烈日练站功。功夫不负有心人，他在七年后终于接触到了“祖国第一旗”。巧合的是，带领自己圆梦的“教练”，正是7年前，张威偶遇的升旗手张自轩。“七年圆梦”的背后是护旗精神的代代传承。活动现场家长和小朋友们掌声不断。
新华小记者在体验采访阅读推广人唐老师时，唐老师为现场的小朋友留下了这样一段话：
“我要感谢大家来到我们的儿童图书馆，并对我们图书馆的工作给予关注。儿童是国家的未来，他们的成长和发展是我们这个社会的重要责任。而图书馆是孩子们开启知识之门的钥匙。
在今天这个信息化的时代，虽然网络和电子书为我们带来了方便，但纸质书籍的魅力是不可替代的。它能够培养孩子们的专注力、阅读习惯，并激发他们的想象力和创造力。
我们的儿童图书馆注重为孩子们创造一个舒适、友好的阅读环境。除了提供丰富的书籍资源外，我们还定期举办各种活动，如故事会、绘本分享、手工制作等，旨在引导孩子们走进书的世界，发现知识的乐趣。
我们相信，一个充满书香的环境，能够给孩子们带来无限的启示和启发，帮助他们建立自信，培养独立思考的能力，为他们的未来打下坚实的基础。让我们共同努力，为孩子们创造更好的成长环境，让他们在知识的海洋中畅游、探索，为国家的未来献上自己的力量。”
